Responsible Gambling

Keep it fun

Gambling is entertainment, not a way to earn money. Play only with spare money, never with money for bills, rent or food. Set a budget, do not chase losses and do not play when you have been drinking or taking drugs.

Deposit limits

You can set your own deposit limit per day, week or month. Raising or removing a limit takes at least 24 hours.

Take a break

Ask our support team for a cooling-off period and we disable your account for the time you choose. It stays closed until that period ends and you write to us to open it again.

Self-exclusion

If you feel you have a gambling problem, tell our support team when you ask to close your account. We then make sure the account stays closed for good.

Check yourself

Gamblers Anonymous offers 20 questions that help you see whether gambling has become more than fun. If you answer yes to several of them, reach out for support.

Where to get help

Gambling Help Online offers counselling in Australia, and the 1800 Gambling Helpline is on 1800 858 858. Gamblers Anonymous and Gambling Therapy also help people who struggle with gambling.

Protect young people

Nobody under 18 may play at Joe Fortune. Parental control software such as Net Nanny or Cyber Sitter helps keep children away from gambling sites. Do not save your password, and keep card and bank details out of children's reach.
